This is a good example of what in the first place was to be a practical type of cabinet. This client wanted to store a large number of CDs and still be able to quickly find the title he’s looking for. By placing the CDs in drawers the height of the cabinet could be significantly reduced so, despite the volume of the cabinet, the end result is still looking rather airy. The various differences in width, height and depth make the cabinet look a lot less massive. |
